Rehearsal DinnersRehearsal dinners are traditionally held after the ceremony rehearsal. They are great time for the bride and groom to celebrate their closest family and friends and thank them for all their help in planning the wedding. Rehearsal dinners also give the bridal party and family a chance to relax and enjoy each other’s company before the wedding. These days rehearsal dinners can be as casual or formal as you choose, some couples are doing brunches or are doing themes such as BBQ, the 50/60’s, romantic or tropical. Although it was traditional for the groom’s parents to host the dinner, some brides and grooms or both sets of parents are participating in hosting the dinner. We are excited to write about our first Mother’s Day Brunch, it was fabulous!! For anyone who missed it, here’s a recap: Moms were treated to a lovely long-stem rose and the family was seated among our beautiful pecan grove where servers greeted them with complimentary Mimosas and Hibiscus drinks. The whole family had unlimited access to all the fantastic food preprared by All About Catering Co. (AACC). In addition to the delicious food, elegant display, the AACC staff made the action stations (beef carving, waffle, and omelet) a hit. The kids especially loved the dessert station which included a chocolate fountain, red velvet cake and more… In addition to a wonderful brunch many people chose to give Mom the unforgettable gift of a family portrait session by Cosey Photography. Heather and Archie Cosey effortlessly had the whole family laughing and enjoying the session. Last but not least we asked all our guests to fill-out a feedback card, in doing so they were entered to win a pecan pie delivered to their door. The winner was Vicki Spitz!
