Let’s face it. . . Arizona is hot. . . and pretty much any day from May – September is going to be toasty. Luckily, most of us “Phoenicians” are used to it and embrace it, but you may have out of town guests that may sing a different tune. Luckily, our picturesque venue in nestled under beautiful mature pecan trees which provide a lot of shade. In addition, we are away from the concrete jungle, so temperatures tend to be a bit lower here anyway. If you are getting married during the warmer months and want to help make guests a little extra cool. . . check out these examples.
Ice Cold Lemonade – A cool beverage station is always a good way to keep guests cool before the ceremony starts. . . and who doesn’t love lemonade?!
Fans – This is an oldie but goodie. Fans really do help keep the heat at bay, you can also use them as a program to pull double duty!
Popsicles – Guests might expect a water or cool beverage station to dive into pre ceremony, but what they won’t expect is a popsicle or ice cream cart!
Essential Oil Misters – In a day where essential oils seem to be EVERYWHERE, why not offer a natural remedy to keep the sweat away.
Give Them A Warning – Be sure to list on your invitation that the ceremony will be OUTSIDE so they can dress accordingly.
