2015 Color of the Year – Marsala
In case you haven’t heard, marsala has been named Pantone’s color of the year.
I am usually not a huge fan of the color red, but this hue is so pretty! It’s almost a combination of burgundy with a touch of pink. So rich and pretty. Initially I thought, this is a fall and winter wedding color, however as I began to look at inspiration pictures, I quickly realized that when paired with soft pinks, greens, and ivory, marsala can really be used year round. Marsala also pairs so well with metallics, which I believe will continue to be a trend this year.
