New year, new trends! Here are the biggest things we’re seeing when it comes to wedding trends in 2022.

1. Outdoor Weddings

More and more couples are looking to host their wedding fully outdoors for Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. Being immersed in nature not only makes for picture-perfect photo opportunities, it also means you can do less on the decor end! When you’re surrounded by nature, there’s no starting with a blank canvas. You can build on the beauty and add your own touches wherever you’d like to customize your day to you.

      2. Larger Guest Counts

Your friends and family are ready to party! Expect to see a larger number of “YES!” RSVPs returned to you as you’re planning for your big day, because your guests are excited to get out, socialize, and celebrate!

3. Long Wedding Weekends

Why limit your wedding celebration to just one day?! Soak in the time you have with family & friends by hosting welcome events, cocktail hours, and post-wedding brunches! A great way to capitalize on this is to opt for a non-Saturday wedding. Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday weddings are the perfect way to extend your wedding weekend and embrace more time with your loved ones.

4. The New Tradition is No Traditions

If we’ve learned anything over the past few years, it’s that we should celebrate love whenever we can, however we can, and in all its forms. Our couples are making their wedding days as unique as their love by going non-traditional routes. Say, “yes!” to whatever makes you happy and, “no thank you” to anything that doesn’t! It’s YOUR day, and in 2022, we’re only incorporating the things that bring us joy.
