DIY Cake Topper

Wanting to add a little something special to the top of your wedding cake? What about making these sweet paper flags?! They are super simple and DIY approved for even the non-crafters. This is a great way to incorporate your wedding colors and add a little jazz to your cake!

Materials:

Scrapbook paper

Skewers

Hot Glue Gun

Letters (optional) You can find these already precut at your local craft store.

Flowers (optional)

Directions:

Step One – Sketch several flag shapes on the backside of your scrapbook paper. I also made several different sizes for dimension.

Step Two – Cut your flags out.

Step Three – Use your hot glue gun and glue the flag to the skewer.

Step Four – Stick in the top of your cake.

Step 5 – You can also glue your initials to skewers and add flowers for even more jazz.

Easy peasey, right? So, go out, grab your glue gun, and start crafting those flags!
