DIY Vintage Photobooth Inspiration
In the age of the Iphone, Instagram, and Facebook, it’s really easy for you to create your own “photobooth” for guests to use at your wedding! With a few pieces of furniture or a DIY backdrop, you can create a simple and intimate setting for guests to enjoy and snap a few pics. Here are a few tips to consider when creating your own photobooth:
- Don’t have furniture? You can always rent a few pieces from a vintage rental company like Dusty Lilacs.
- Be sure to create a fun hashtag for guests to use so you can track all your pictures and then simply have them printed later. Also be sure that hashtag is displayed somewhere for guests to see easily.
- Be sure to have your “photobooth” area labeled so guests know what it is for. . . you don’t want them to think it’s just a seating area.
- Have your DJ or MC make an announcement periodically to remind guests through the night to be sure to take photos.
