Fall Favor Guide
Ever wonder where the wedding favor originated? Dating back to 16th Century England, couples would give their guests tied pieces of lace called love knots to each of their wedding guests to represent their bond in love. Since then favors have evolved into more practical tokens to tell guests thank you for loving and supporting you on your wedding day.
My number one piece of advice when it comes to favors, is choose something your guests will really eat or use. Think about your guests and their personalities and what they would like. I can tell you that food/treats never go wasted (wink wink). You may also want to consider what time of year you are getting married. If you are getting married in fall, you’ve got lots of yummy options that guests will surely love. And since November is the month of being “thankful,” you may even want to consider a donation to a charity in your guests names.
