FALL-ing In Love With Pie
Whew, Halloween is over. . . and now we can concentrate on Thanksgiving! Such a special time of the year when we surround ourselves with family and friends and reflect on what we are thankful for. This is why this time of year is so perfect for weddings, especially here in Arizona where the weather could not be any better.
So what comes to mind when you think of Thanksgiving? Turkey of course, but if you are anything like me. . . PIE is a close second! So why not tie your wedding desserts into that, and host a pie bar for your guests to enjoy?
I recently read an article about a couple who had 20 family members bring their favorite pie to share with wedding guests at their pie bar! What an awesome idea! This not only cuts down on dessert costs, but also shares something special from your family with your guests.
Although you could provide a pie bar anytime of the year, there is something special about Thanksgiving and Fall that makes it feel like the perfect wedding dessert.
