Keep’n It Classy
“We don’t want our guests to have a good time”. . . . said NO bride or groom EVER!
Some couples may think it’s necessary to have all full open bar for their guests to have a good time. I am not saying that you have to have alcohol at your wedding, in fact some of the most intimate and sentimental weddings I have seen are ones that are dry, HOWEVER, I’m here to tell you, that you don’t need a full open bar for guests to have a good time. Not only will you save a good chunk of money by not having a full open bar, but, you will have less of a chance of your wedding reception looking like a frat party by 10pm.
Another option, should you choose to have alcohol at your wedding, is to provide beer and wine for your guests in addition to a signature drink. This is the best of both worlds, your guests have the option of having a beer or glass of wine, but can also enjoy a cocktail. By limiting their choices, your reception is sure to be a classy success, and guests will have a fabulous time!
