Spring Inspired Signature Drinks

February 28th, 2017

Does anyone else feel like winter flew by this year. . . all of a sudden, it’s nearly Spring. As you can probably guess, Spring is one of the most popular times to get married. The weather is perfect, the foliage is perfect, it’s a wedding dream.

It is important to keep your wedding “season” appropriate, so if you are planning a spring wedding, then you are already incorporating spring colors and themes into your décor. For instance blush pink instead of fall burgundy, and spring flowers instead of pumpkins. A spring theme is new, fresh, light, and airy. To really carry out the spring theme, you could also serve a light and fresh signature drink.

We love the idea of a signature drink for several reasons. First, you can use a drink to tell a story. Couples can be creative with their drink and tell a story, make it personal. Second, you can control the amount of hard alcohol provided. We all know a wedding with a full bar can tend to get rowdy, so if you are looking to keep your reception a little calmer, this allows you to serve hard alcohol without over-doing it. Lastly, it helps you stay on budget. You can control what ingredients are in the drink, therefore controlling how much you spend.

Are you getting married in the Spring? Here are a few Spring inspired signature drinks, cheers!
